Who processes your data
International Brokers is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this statement. You can reach us through our contact form.
What we process
We only process data you provide yourself. Through the contact form that is your name and email address, and optionally your phone number and the content of your message.
If a conversation becomes an engagement, we additionally record the data needed to carry it out — for example the identification details we are required to verify under the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA).
Why we process it
- To answer your enquiry and get in touch with you
- To perform an agreement with you
- To comply with legal obligations, including the retention and identification duties that apply to property transactions
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a maximum of twelve months. Client file data is kept for as long as the law requires; for business and accounting records the Swiss Code of Obligations sets that at ten years.
Sharing with others
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. Within a live file we share only what is necessary with the parties involved — a notary, a valuer, or a local lawyer for a purchase abroad — and only with your knowledge.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies and uses no external analytics services. No data about your visit is sent to third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and you may object to processing. Send your request through our contact form and we will respond within four weeks.
If we cannot resolve it together, you may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are resident in the EU or EEA, you may instead complain to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Security
All traffic on this website is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to client file data is limited to the advisers working on your file.
